Our History

Over 50 Years of Exceptional Service

Servicing Utah, Nevada and Arizona for over three generations. We’ve grown a lot since 1937, but one thing has remained constant: we’re a family business with a focus on strengthening our community, remembering our heritage, and standing as a symbol of stability.

Beginning in 1937, Herman Larkin opened Larkin Plumbing and served the St. George community for 10 years before passing away in an airplane accident. In January of 1967, Herman’s sons, Grey and Dale Larkin, reopened their father’s business and in November of 1969, they changed Larkin Plumbing to L&L Mechanical Contractors.

Today, with your support, the same tradition that began in 1937 of providing high-quality service to the community we know and love continues through Darrin Larkin, Grey’s son and Herman’s grandson, who has owned and operated the company since 2007.

Thank you for over 50 years of support and continued growth. The quality of our work and our promise of excellence are what set us apart and that will never change.
